He also had a playful side, indulging in various types of poker and euchre with friends. A true sports enthusiast, he loved watching games and cheering on his favorite teams.
Simple pleasures also brought joy to Thomas John’s life. He appreciated the simple comfort of movie theater popcorn, the warmth of heated blankets and slippers, and the quiet moments spent reading the newspaper. Music was a significant part of his life; Rush held a special place in his heart, and he curated an impressive vinyl collection, which he enjoyed listening to, sometimes at high volume, through his cherished stereo system. His passion for cars was evident in his ownership of a Chevy Camaro, a car only slightly surpassed by his dream vehicle, a 1970 Chevelle SS.
Above all, Thomas John was his children’s number one supporter, enthusiastically cheering them on at their sports games and in all their endeavors.
