Step-by-Step Enrollment Guide
Step 1: Complete the Lottery Application via SchoolMint
St Johns Classical Academy utilizes SchoolMint for all application submissions throughout the year. In accordance with Florida law, when the number of applicants exceeds the available seats per grade level, a random lottery is conducted. To begin, complete your lottery application here. Please note that the lottery for the upcoming school year is finalized by January 31st of the current school year.
Important Notification: Lottery results will be communicated to you via the email address and phone number you provide in your application.
Step 2: Await Notification of Offer to Register or Waitlist Status
The availability of seats in each grade determines the number of registration offers extended. If your student is selected for enrollment at St Johns Classical Academy, you will receive an official offer to register. Conversely, if applications exceed available spaces, your student will be placed on a waitlist, and you will be informed of their waitlist status.
Step 3: Accept Your Offer to Register Promptly
Upon receiving an offer to register, you are granted a three-day window to accept. This timely acceptance confirms your intention to proceed with the registration process. To accept, simply follow the detailed instructions provided in the email or text message you receive from SchoolMint.
Step 4: Finalize Registration Through ParentVUE
The final registration phase is facilitated through the county’s ParentVUE system and typically opens around May 1st. Once the registration window opens, you will receive a notification and will need to log in to an existing ParentVUE account or create a new one. Completion of registration within this window is mandatory; students cannot commence attending St Johns Classical Academy until this step is fully completed.
