Driving Directions and Parking at Johns Hopkins Address
For visitors arriving by car, please note that the mailing address, 3400 North Charles Street, Shaffer Hall 103, Baltimore, MD 21218, is not ideal for GPS navigation directly to parking. Instead, use the GPS address 3100 Wyman Park Drive, Baltimore, MD 21218. This will guide you to the Johns Hopkins University South Garage, conveniently located under Mason Hall and the closest parking facility to Shaffer Hall.
Upon arrival at the South Garage, take a ticket at the entrance and park in any non-reserved parking space on any level. Reserved spots are clearly marked for your convenience. After parking, proceed to the northeast staircase or elevator to reach the quad level exit.

Exiting the garage at the quad level, you will find yourself at the Hackerman Hall “bridge”. Turn right and walk towards Wyman Quad. As you walk, Shriver Hall will be on your right. Continue straight, and you will soon approach Shaffer Hall. Enter Shaffer Hall through the main entrance on the ground floor. The INBT business office is located immediately to the right of the elevators, on the first floor for easy access.
Arriving by Taxi or Rideshare to Johns Hopkins Address
If you are using a taxi or ridesharing service like Uber or Lyft, simply ask your driver to take you to Mason Hall on the Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus, specifically across the street from 3100 Wyman Park Drive. This drop-off point is the most convenient for reaching Shaffer Hall.
From the drop-off location at Mason Hall, walk behind the building towards Decker Quad. Follow the pathway to your right, then turn right again to walk under the Hackerman Hall “bridge” towards Wyman Quad. You’ll pass Shriver Hall on your right as you proceed towards Shaffer Hall. Enter Shaffer Hall via the main entrance on the ground floor, and the INBT business office will be readily visible to the right of the elevators.
