John Vervaeke is a prominent figure in the field of Cognitive Science, renowned for his extensive work as an educator, researcher, and public intellectual. As the director of the Cognitive Science program at the University of Toronto, John Vervaeke is deeply involved in shaping the future of the field. He instructs students in introductory Cognitive Science and the Cognitive Science of consciousness, with a particular emphasis on 4E models of cognition – embodied, embedded, enacted, and extended.
