Detroit’s iconic Movement Music Festival is gearing up for an electrifying return to Hart Plaza on Memorial Day weekend 2025, and the initial lineup announcement is already generating massive buzz. Among the stellar acts revealed, Chicago’s own John Summit stands out, promising to deliver an unforgettable performance in the heart of Detroit.

Electronic music enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating John Summit’s set at Movement Detroit. The festival, scheduled for May 24-26, 2025, will take place at the recently renovated Hart Plaza. A $9 million upgrade, part of President Joe Biden’s American Rescue Plan Act, has revitalized the iconic venue. Festival attendees will be able to enjoy the fully restored Dodge and Son Memorial Fountain, a futuristic centerpiece now dazzling with cool mist and vibrant, color-changing LED lights.
