Discover the John Hancock Vitality Program and Galleri Test Benefit

The John Hancock Vitality Program, offered in connection with John Hancock life insurance policies, provides a unique opportunity to enhance your well-being while being rewarded. This program is designed to incentivize healthy living through various rewards and discounts, tailored to individuals insured under eligible life insurance policies. It’s important to note that these rewards can vary depending on the policy type, the state of issue, and are subject to change, not guaranteed for the policy’s lifetime.

A significant benefit within the John Hancock Vitality PLUS program is access to the Galleri test. This advanced cancer detection test is available to registered Vitality PLUS members aged 40 or older who have completed their Vitality Health Review in the current program year. The subsidy for the Galleri test cost depends on the life insurance coverage amount. For policies with a face amount of $500,000 or greater, John Hancock covers 100% of the test cost. For policies with coverage less than $500,000, a 50% subsidy is provided. Eligibility for the Galleri test also involves Grail’s clinically informed criteria and additional cancer risk factors for those aged 40-49. For members holding multiple policies, the subsidy level is determined by the policy with the highest face amount. It’s also important to note that access to the Galleri test via the John Hancock Vitality Program may not be available in all states and is subject to change. The Galleri test itself is manufactured and distributed by GRAIL, LLC. John Hancock clarifies that they do not offer medical advice, are not involved in the test’s design or manufacture, and are not responsible for its accuracy or performance.

Furthermore, John Hancock demonstrates its commitment beyond individual health. Beginning on Veteran’s Day 2024 and continuing through at least July 4, 2025, for every four new Vitality registrations, John Hancock will sponsor a Galleri test to be donated to Home Base, a program supporting veterans and their families.

John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A.) and John Hancock Life Insurance Company of New York issue insurance products. Vitality PLUS benefits are part of the Healthy Engagement rider (HER) or Healthy Engagement Benefit rider (HEBR). The Healthy Engagement rider allows for premium savings through Vitality Program engagement, while the Healthy Engagement Benefit rider enhances the death benefit instead, and is available on select products.

It’s crucial to understand that products and services under the Vitality Program are not insurance themselves and are subject to modifications. Additional costs and participation requirements may apply. For detailed information about the John Hancock Vitality Program, please visit JohnHancock.com or call 888-333-2659.
