John William Beach, affectionately known as “JohnnyBill,” a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2023, at the age of 58. His sudden departure, following a workplace accident at North Kansas City Hospital, has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. Born in Kansas City in 1965 to John C. Beach and Iris Sanford, JohnnyBill remained deeply rooted in Wyandotte County, Kansas, throughout his life.
JohnnyBill was a man of diverse passions and experiences. He navigated a complex relationship with roofing and entrepreneurship, demonstrating his hardworking spirit and determination. Those who knew John Beach saw a man with a “wild side,” yet he was equally known for his profound grace and generosity. He possessed a remarkable capacity for kindness, often performing spontaneous acts of charity, such as paying for groceries for strangers during the holiday season. Beneath a tough exterior, JohnnyBill had a “big ole heart,” always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need, especially his family, whom he held above all else.
Beyond his work and acts of kindness, John Beach cherished moments spent fishing, riding motorcycles, and especially being at the lake. He fondly referred to the lake as “God’s Country,” a testament to the peace and joy he found in nature and these activities.
JohnnyBill is survived by his loving longtime girlfriend, Amanda Beach, and his legacy continues through his sons: J.W. Beach, Joshua Davila (with Misty), Jessy C. Beach, Josh Hamilton, and Zachery Salazar. He also leaves behind grandsons Joshua Davila, Jr., Jeremiah Davila, and Jayden Davila. His siblings, Jammi Beach (with Todd), Jessy A. Beach (with Beth), Michael Beach (with Brittany), Nicole Jacobs, and JohnBoy, along with numerous nieces, great-nephews, and friends, will deeply miss him.
He was predeceased by his parents, John C. Beach and Iris Sanford, his son, John Beach, and granddaughter, Jada Davila.
