Our Manager in Training (MIT) role is specifically designed as a Jimmy John’s Fast Track program to propel you into a management position within just 60 days! As an MIT, you’ll dive into all facets of store operations through hands-on work assignments and comprehensive training.

You’ll master the art of crafting “Freaky Fast” and accurate sandwiches while delivering world-class customer service. Crucially, you’ll also learn the behind-the-scenes aspects of running a successful Jimmy John’s, including maintaining a clean and organized environment and managing store-level metrics to drive restaurant profitability. This intensive training ensures you’re fully prepared to take the reins as an Assistant Manager.

Step Up to Person In Charge (PIC) After Training

Upon successful completion of the Jimmy John’s Fast Track MIT program, you’ll be ready for promotion to Person In Charge (PIC). In this role, you’ll play a vital part in the daily operations of a Jimmy John’s restaurant. We’re looking for individuals who bring a positive, “rock star” attitude to work every day.

As a PIC, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining exceptional store standards and ensuring all team members are performing efficiently and effectively. You’ll lead by example, embodying our commitment to speed, quality, and customer satisfaction. This is a fast-paced environment where your ability to execute systems and procedures with integrity is key to success. Excelling as a PIC opens doors to further management advancement within our expanding Jimmy John’s franchise.

To join our Jimmy John’s Fast Track management program, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Thrive in fast-paced and sometimes stressful situations.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Be able to provide constructive feedback and recommendations regarding store and employee performance.
