What You’ll Do as an In-Shop Crew Member
As an In-Shop Crew Member, you’ll be at the heart of the Jimmy John’s experience, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile and a delicious sandwich.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day tasks will be varied and engaging:
- Exceptional Customer Service: Greet every guest with a smile and provide prompt and friendly service.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep your work area spotless and contribute to overall store cleanliness throughout your shift.
- Menu Mastery: Learn our menu inside and out to prepare sandwiches quickly and accurately, using the correct ingredients and portions.
- Phone Orders and Inquiries: Answer phones professionally to take customer orders and answer any questions they may have.
- Cash Handling and Order Accuracy: Handle cash transactions and customer communications with accuracy and efficiency when taking orders at the register.
- Delivery Order Organization: Organize and bag delivery orders to ensure they are complete and ready for our drivers.
- Communication Skills: Communicate effectively and respectfully with supervisors, teammates, and customers, both verbally and in writing.

- Comfort in Varying Temperatures: You must be able to work in a walk-in refrigerator and freezer environment with temperatures ranging from 40°F to -10°F.
