Thomas Argir, a resident of Framingham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Arlene (Johnson) Argir. Born in Natick on March 26, 1942, to Charles and Katherine (Soter) Argir, Thomas lived a full and impactful life in the local community.
Tom dedicated his career to education, serving as a respected educator and administrator in Sudbury and Holliston. He concluded his professional journey as the Principal of Center School in Hopkinton, leaving a lasting impression on countless students and colleagues. Beyond his professional life, Tom was deeply involved in sports, coaching his sons’ teams for many years and later becoming a sports official in football, basketball, and softball. He cherished the opportunity to mentor young athletes and took genuine interest in their development.
Travel was another passion for Tom. He and Arlene enjoyed many adventures together, exploring Europe, the Caribbean, and various parts of the United States with friends. Tom was always ready for a new experience and embraced life with enthusiasm.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during Visiting Hours at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, located at 4 Park Street, Natick, MA, on Monday, February 24th, from 5-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Annunciation Orthodox Church, 37 Washington Street, Natick, on Tuesday, February 25th, at 10:30am. Following the service, interment will take place at Dell Park Cemetery in Natick.

Thomas Argir is survived by his loving wife Arlene, his sons Scott Argir of Ashland, and Mark Argir of Matamoras PA, his cherished sister Linda Lloyd and her husband Thomas of Natick, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Lana Argir. Tom’s memory will be held dear by all who knew him.
