Heather Torelli-Ienopoli, FNP-BC
Director of Student Health Services & Family Nurse Practitioner
Heather Torelli-Ienopoli, as the Medical Director and a Family Nurse Practitioner at Saint John’s Health Center, brings over 17 years of diverse healthcare experience to St. John’s University. Board-certified in Family Practice Medicine, her expertise spans pediatric, adult, and geriatric care. Having earned her degrees from Gwynedd Mercy College and Thomas Jefferson University, Heather’s philosophy centers on preventative medicine through early intervention and education. Prior to joining Saint John’s Health Center from Crossover Health @ Comcast NBCUniversal in 2022, she held provider, educator, and leadership roles in various healthcare settings, including acute inpatient care and primary care. Heather is passionate about supporting the “bright minds of our future” at St. John’s.
Tatum Fitzgerald, DNP, FNP-BC
Family Nurse Practitioner
Tatum Fitzgerald is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner at Saint John’s Health Center, holding a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Columbia University. Board-certified with a subspecialty in Women’s Health, Tatum’s nine years of experience began in sexual and reproductive health. She has since expanded her practice to primary and urgent care, always advocating for quality healthcare in underserved communities. Since joining Saint John’s Health Center in March 2023, Tatum feels privileged to support students during their formative young adult years, applying her expertise and commitment to their well-being.
Mark Winkler, FNP-BC

Mark Winkler, a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Saint John’s Health Center, combines his extensive clinical experience with a passion for community health. With degrees from Molloy University and a Masters in Public Health from NYU, Mark has contributed to healthcare in urgent care and community settings for 17 years. His deep roots in Jamaica, Queens, fuel his dedication to accessible healthcare. Beyond his practice, Mark shares his knowledge as an adjunct professor at Molloy University, shaping future healthcare professionals. His commitment to compassionate care and community advocacy is evident in his work at Saint John’s Health Center.

Nicole Casten, RN, brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to her role at Saint John’s Health Center. Graduating with her BSN from the College of New Rochelle, Nicole’s background includes occupational health, critical care, primary care, and women’s reproductive health. With 10 years of prior college health experience, Nicole joined Student Health Services in June 2022 and is passionate about supporting the well-being of St. John’s students. Her diverse experience enriches the care provided at Saint John’s Health Center.
Rhiannon Alton, RN
Registered Nurse
Rhiannon Alton, RN, joined Saint John’s Health Center in February 2023, bringing her experience from inpatient hospital settings, specializing in Pediatrics and Labor and Delivery. A Molloy University graduate with a BSN in 2019, Rhiannon is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for students at St. John’s University. She is excited to be part of the Saint John’s Health Center team and contribute to the health and wellness of the student community.

Kristine Alido is often the first point of contact at Saint John’s Health Center, serving as our Medical Records Specialist. With her certification as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist from Plaza College, Kristine expertly assists students with inquiries, appointment scheduling, and navigating health services. Her background includes experience in private clinics and corporate health, where she honed her skills in patient care and confidential paperwork management. Joining Saint John’s Health Center in March 2023, Kristine is eager to apply her customer service expertise to enhance the student experience.
