Parking in Baltimore can be challenging, but as a Children’s House family, you receive the exclusive benefit of one complimentary parking space per family. Additional vehicles will be charged $42 per day.
The hotel offers valet parking service only, which includes unlimited in/out privileges 24 hours a day. Gratuities for the valet service are included, so tipping is not necessary.
As an alternative, a paid parking garage is located at the hospital for $15 per day.
The Children’s House Lounge (Room 711)
A unique and valuable amenity for Children’s House guests is the Children’s House Lounge, located in Room 711. This dedicated space serves as a communal area for families to relax, connect, and find support. The lounge features:

- Pantry & Supplies: A complimentary food pantry stocked with snacks and essentials, along with various supplies to assist families.

- Family Suppers & Events: The Children’s House continues its volunteer-based supper program several nights a week, typically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays. A weekly schedule with menus will be emailed to families. Suppers are delivered to the Children’s House Lounge. Additionally, look out for scheduled activities like dog therapy, arts and crafts, and other special events posted weekly in the lounge.
Housekeeping Schedule
To maintain a comfortable environment during your stay at Residence Inn Johns Hopkins, Children’s House families receive a full room cleaning every 7th day. A room refresh, including trash removal and towel service, is provided every 3rd day. For any immediate needs such as fresh towels, extra pillows, or linen, please contact the front desk for prompt assistance at any time.
Shuttle Service to Johns Hopkins Hospital
The Residence Inn Johns Hopkins is conveniently situated just two blocks from Johns Hopkins Hospital. For added convenience, a shuttle service is available upon request.
