John Deere Pickups are engineered to ensure your combine operates at peak capacity, especially in challenging windrow crops like canola. When dealing with tough conditions, the BP15 belt pickup is the ideal match for your John Deere combine, ensuring no performance is left on the table. It’s designed to handle a variety of difficult situations, from thick canola swaths to uneven windrows, helping you maximize grain in the tank and acres covered daily.

The John Deere BP15 belt pickup significantly boosts productivity. When paired with a John Deere X Series Combine, it can pick up an impressive 30 acres (12.1 ha) of wheat windrows or 25 acres (10.1 ha) of canola windrows per hour. This enhanced performance surpasses even the S790 Combine equipped with the 615P Belt Pickup, thanks to a wider feeder house opening and adjustable feed auger flighting and tines.

Minimize downtime caused by slug feeding and plugging with the BP15’s advanced design. A 20 percent increase in feed auger speed compared to the 615P, achievable through a two-speed auger drive sprocket, is perfect for canola and high-yielding wheat. For lighter crops like cereals, a slower speed feed rate is available. Additionally, a feed auger spacer maintains optimal auger height when tackling large windrows.

Effectively direct harvested grain into the feeder house and minimize loss. The BP15 features a windscreen and a factory-installed crop shield that work together to guide free grain into the combine. This system reduces debris accumulation on the feeder house and windshield, while also cutting down on grain loss over the backsheet by up to 0.1 bu/acre in canola.

For handling substantial windrows without reducing speed, the BP15 is equipped with a heavy-duty clutch located at the auger. This reduces plugging risks in large windrows. In the event of a plug, the hydraulic reverser allows for quick clearing from the cab. The system includes an automatic removal feature that activates when the feeder house is reversed and incorporates a belt engagement delay, a feature exclusive to John Deere, further preventing plugging and ensuring smooth operation.
