Skye is waiting to bring joy and cuddles into your home! This sweet and beautiful young cat is ready to find her forever family through Father Johns Animal House. Skye, a charming Domestic Short Hair, came to us with her sister Luna after their previous owner faced housing changes that sadly couldn’t accommodate pets. While Luna has found her happy ending, Skye is now eager for her own chapter to begin with you.
Estimated to be around 11 months old, Skye and Luna transitioned seamlessly into indoor life after being found as strays. Skye has a gentle nature, having lived comfortably with children as young as four. Affection is definitely Skye’s love language! While she enjoys relaxing in her cozy bed, she’s always happy to receive attention and pets.
Skye is quite the conversationalist and will greet you with the most adorable “meow”! Once you start petting her, prepare for endless purrs and maybe even a sweet follow as she soaks up the love. The only thing that might distract her from your attention is the promise of tasty food!
Ideally, Skye would love to be the center of your world as a single cat, reigning as your princess. However, she is also open to sharing her space with another cat, provided they are accepting of her friendly personality. She coexists peacefully with other cats in her current room at Father Johns, but what she truly desires is a home where she knows she will be cherished and loved unconditionally.
